Yanjun Li (b. 1998 Kunming, China) is a painter based in New York, NY. She received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2020, and Post-Baccalaureate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in 2023. Yanjun’s work has been shown in New York and Boston. Yanjun now works and lives in New York City.
As an artist, Yanjun sees boundless possibilities in the fusion of natural and artificial materials to create a new medium of expression. She is inspired by the idea of creating a space where individuals can connect on a deeper level, finding common ground and a shared sense of beauty and meaning that transcends the limitations of language and culture, where we all can celebrate the enchantment of our differences while recognizing the underlying unity of all things.
